Step 1

Wash the whole mung dal several times with water and soak the dal overnight in a bowl of clean water.

Step 2

Take ginger pieces and tomatoes together and make a paste and keep it in a bowl.  Whole mung beans should be taken out of the water and made into a paste but should not be refined, the grains should be kept.

Step 3

Gas should be placed on the pan.  When the pan is hot, add oil to it and wait until it heats up, at this time reduce the gas flame completely.  Add whole cumin seeds and chili flakes, when it smells like boiling, add ginger and tomato paste and stir it.

Step 4

Cook the peas and capsicum for 2-3 minutes and stir the ground dal occasionally.  Do not add all the water at once as there is a possibility that the paste will stick, add water little by little.  At this time, the gas flame should be kept slightly lower than the medium.

Step 5
